ASICS and Mouratoglou Academy join forces to shape tennis stars of the future

ASICS has announced a major global partnership with the Mouratoglou Academy, a move set to elevate tennis coaching and player development worldwide.

Founded by legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou, whose work with some of the game’s greatest names has cemented his place as one of the most influential figures in modern tennis, the Academy is widely regarded as a global benchmark for elite tennis education.

The partnership is part of ASICS’ T-Project – an initiative designed to drive growth in tennis by investing in grassroots development and high-performance coaching. By teaming up with Mouratoglou and his renowned team of over 100 coaches, ASICS is doubling down on its commitment to supporting those who nurture the next generation of players.

Mitsuyuki Tominaga, President and COO of ASICS, underlined the brand’s focus on the crucial role coaches play:

“This partnership with the Mouratoglou Tennis Academy represents our ongoing commitment to nurturing the future of tennis. We know that the coach is the most important figure in a player’s life on the court. Through this partnership, Patrick and his team will have access to our latest performance footwear, helping them enhance their training impact.”

Patrick Mouratoglou added:

“At the Mouratoglou Academy, we believe great coaching is the foundation of a player’s success. ASICS shares our values of excellence and innovation, which makes this a natural fit. I’m proud that our coaches will be supported by a brand that truly understands player development.”

The global collaboration officially kicks off today, 18 June 2025, and will span the Academy’s international locations – including its flagship base on the French Riviera, as well as sites in Atlanta, Zephyrhills (Florida), and Kuala Lumpur.

With ASICS and Mouratoglou Academy now aligned, the tennis world can expect big things from this high-performance pairing – both on and off the court.
